George Orwell 1984

I think that this book is very interesting. It makes you think of how things can function in a different way. The people in 1984 can't have opinions on things, and if they do they will get punished. I would never think a place like that would work, but it seems like the people follow the rules because they don't want to get punished. It is also interesting how the government is always watching them. Like the telescreens in their houses and on the streets. I think it is interesting how they have the 2 minute hates and people just yell at a screen and never know if the other people are thinking the same thing as them. The people also follow Big Brother, and there are posters of him everywhere and his eyes follow them everywhere that they go. I think that is very interesting. This is why i think George Orwell 1984 is interesting.
